Product Description:
Vitále® Foam Dressings are highly absorbent and provide an ideal moist environment for healing. They are soft and flexible dressings that are very comfortable on fragile skin, and have a long wear time of up to seven days. These dressings are indicated for the treatment of moderate to heavy exudating wounds, and assist in protecting the wound, preventing bacterial contamination and maceration.
There are two layers, an absorbent foam that absorbs and retains exudates, and a waterproof yet vapor permeable film to provide protection (except 20463). The adhesive versions have a waterproof film border with non-allergenic adhesive to adhere the dressing in place. The breathable film also allows excess gases to escape to allow moisture absorption. On style 20463 there is no waterproof film backing. Vitále Foam Dressings are sterilized by radiation must not be resterilized.
